| Family Haven Cards - The Family Haven project was begun in 1999 in Vilnius Lithuania through the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception for single mothers and children. In working with children it was observed that most of the family problems are directly related to the home situation. The care extended to children has more value when mothers are involved. For this reason children and mothers were invited together to gather at the Family Haven Center. An extensive program including art therapy has allowed these women to improve their lives. In creating an assortment of beautiful cards they nurture their God given talents and self-esteem and their children are proud of their mothers activities. To order these artistic cards and help these struggling families contact Bernadette Vance at info@immaculateconceptionsite.org. |
